案例背景
[編輯]德士古是一家營利性的公司，而公司有一個內部圖書館並聘請了許多科學家。德士古訂閱了美國地球物理聯盟(AGU)的期刊，這是一家出版多種期刊的學會。德士古還從版權結算中心(CCC)購買了一份複印許可證，即該中心向研究機構頒發的(期刊)學術內容複印許可證。[3]與許多擁有內部圖書館的公司一樣，德士古就將AGU所出版的期刊內容文章複印發送給員工。
