German Township is one of the twelve townships of Fulton County, 俄亥俄州, 美国. The 2000 census found 6,458 people in the township, 2,168 of whom lived in the unincorporated portions of the township.[3]

[编辑]Located in the southwestern corner of the county, 与以下镇区接壤:

- Dover Township - 北east corner
- Clinton Township - 东
- Freedom Township, Henry County - 东南 corner
- Ridgeville Township, Henry County - 南
- Springfield Township, Williams County - 南west
- Brady Township, Williams County - 西
The village of Archbold is located in southern German Township.
The fake town of Beatosu was inserted into the 1978-79 Michigan state map in the township as a joke.
Name and history
[编辑]It is one of five German Townships statewide.[4]
Built in the 1860s and 1870s, the Goll Homestead in the township's northwest is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.[5]
政府
[编辑]镇区有3人组成的理事会管理。理事会理事选举在奇数年11月举行,并在来年1月1日开始四年任期。两名理事的选举在总统选举后一年举行,另一名的选举在总统选举前一年举行。镇区财务官亦由选举产生[6],与一名镇区理事选举同时举行,不过在来年4月1日才开始四年任期。若财务官或理事职位有空缺,将由剩余理事填补。
