独立主格结构

在英语语法中，独立主格结构（英语：nominative absolute）是一种独立结构。它是一个句子的一部分，用作句子的修饰语（通常位于句子的开头或结尾）。独立主格结构提供有关主句主语和动词的附加信息。在其他印欧语系语言中，与之类似的还有拉丁语的独立离格结构、古希腊语的独立属格结构和梵语中的独立方位格结构。

独立主格结构的一般结构是一个常规名词或一个代词的主格形式，加上一个不含限定动词的谓语。

识别独立主格结构的一种方法是添加连词和动词：人们通常（尽管并非总是）可以通过添加从属连词（如because或when）及be动词的一个形式来将独立主格结构转化为一个从句。
