紅玉喉北蜂鳥（中國大陸作紅喉北蜂鳥，學名：Archilochus colubris）是雨燕目蜂鳥科的一種鳥，它是迄今為止北美密西西比河以東最常見的蜂鳥。
描述
[編輯]紅玉喉北蜂鳥是在美國東部和加拿大東部繁殖的最小的鳥類物種。這種蜂鳥通常長度為7到9公分，翼展為8到11公分。重2至6克，其中雄性平均為3.4克，雌性略大，平均為3.8克。[2][3]成鳥上半部為綠色，腹部為灰白色，翼近黑色。喙長度可達2公分，修長且筆直。與其他蜂鳥一樣，其腳和趾非常小，中間的趾約0.6公分長。[4][5]
習性和分布

繁殖於整個北美東部和加拿大草原的落葉松林和森林邊緣，果園和花園等地。雌性在灌木或喬木上的受到良好遮蔽的位置建巢。是美國繁殖範圍最大的蜂鳥[4]
紅玉喉北蜂鳥是候鳥，越冬於佛羅里達州、墨西哥南部和中美洲，南至巴拿馬最西部，[7]和西印度群島。
