Twink (男同性戀俚語)

「Twink」是一個男同性戀俚語，常用來形容年齡介乎十幾到二十幾歲之間的男性，他們通常有着苗條至中等的體型和年輕的外表，並且幾乎沒有體毛，往往打扮華麗[5][6][7]。「Twink」可以用作中性描述詞，對比於「熊」[8]，也可以用作貶義詞[5][9]。

「Twink」一詞的確切起源存在爭議。一些文獻將其追溯於1963年，儘管它可能源自一個更古老的英國同性戀俚語詞彙「twank」，意為「同性交易中的男性性工作者，一個願意成為任何支配型男性的『伴侶』的男人」[10]。線上版牛津詞典（英語：Oxford Dictionaries (website)）則稱「twink」源自1970年代[11][12]。

該詞另一個可能的起源是美國的奶油夾心海綿蛋糕（英語：Twinkie）（twinkie）。這種食物被描述為「只有較少的營養價值，口感甜美，充滿奶油」；[13][14][15]作為類比，年輕男性被描述為「身材矮小、白膚金髮碧眼，以及充滿奶油（creme）」[14]，其中「creme」在英文中是精液的委婉語[14][16]。

「Teenaged, white, into no kink」（不喜歡特殊性行為的少年感白人）的逆向首字母縮略詞可以構建出「twink」，雖然這一特徵並不被普遍接受為將某個個體分類為twink的充分必要條件。[17][18]

喬·麥金尼斯在他的著作《永遠不夠》（Never Enough）中，描述了發生在2003年香港的簡崇諾謀殺案（英語：Murder of Robert Kissel），在法庭案件中，「twink」被定義為「一種同性戀俚語術語，用於指稱年齡在18至23歲之間、身材纖瘦、幾乎沒有體毛的男同性戀，他們通常是金髮，但未必是高加索人種」。[19]

這個術語偶爾也用來形容一些瘦弱且擁有少年感的直男名人，比如提摩西·夏勒梅[20][4][21][22]。但out.com的梅伊·呂德（Mey Rude）反對將其用來指代非同性戀男性。[23]

男同性戀次文化

該術語還是男同性戀文化內的一個次文化。同性戀社群成員可能會自我認同為「twink」，但他們的穩定認同主要來自其他成員的接受。[24]

蘇珊·德賴弗（Susan Driver）認為，「twink」一詞基於年齡歧視和種族主義[26][10]。而瓊斯、夏爾達和埃利奧特注意到，一些聲稱「只被兒童吸引」的人提到，觀看twink色情作品對他們來說是一種合法的性釋放途徑。[29]
