死核（英語：Deathcore）也作死蕊，是一種極端金屬的融合類型，將死亡金屬音樂與金屬蕊（有時也有硬蕊龐克）的特點合二為一。[1][2][3][4][5]它使用了死亡金屬的固定音型和blast beat，以及金屬核的分解聯奏。[6][7]死核在美國西南部尤為流行，尤其是樂隊、音樂節眾多的亞利桑那州和南加利福尼亞州兩地。[8][9][10][11]
