露絲·艾琳·湯普森（英語：Ruth Irene Tompson，1910年7月22日—2021年10月10日）是美國攝影機技術員、動畫製作檢查員和超級人瑞[2]。她以在華特迪士尼公司製作動畫長片作品而聞名，並於2000年被宣布為迪士尼傳奇[3]。

[編輯]露絲·湯普森於1910年7月22日出生在美國緬因州的波特蘭市，並在馬薩諸塞州的波士頓市長大[4]。1918年11月，8歲的湯普森與家人搬家到了加利福尼亞州的奧克蘭市[5]。她在第一次世界大戰快結束的時候經歷了1918年流感大流行[6]。1924年，湯普森的父母離異，她跟隨母親艾琳娜（Arlene）；艾琳娜隨後再嫁給了藝術家約翰·羅伯茨（John Roberts）。然後他們一家人搬到了洛杉磯市，他們的住所與華特·迪士尼的叔叔洛伊·迪士尼在同一個街區[7]。
