蜡嘴雀属（学名：Eophona，台湾作黄嘴雀属）为燕雀科下的一个属，其下仅有分布于东亚地区的两个种。[2]本属由英格兰鸟类学家约翰·古尔德于1851年建立[3]，属名来自古希腊语，其中ēōs的意思是“清晨”，phōnē的意思是“叫”。[4]其模式种由英国鸟类学家乔治·罗伯特·格雷指定为Loxia melanura，现为黑尾蜡嘴雀下一个亚种的异名。[1][5]
