[编辑]2017年，维尔在Amazon Prime Video影集《双面警长》饰演西蒙·布朗，并在Netflix影集《这个破世界的末日》中饰演年轻的詹姆斯[3]。他主演了他的第一部故事片《我的名字是莱尼》（2017），在其中饰演年轻的兰尼[4]。2018年，他在BBC影集《呼叫助产士》中饰演凯文·伦特，并在喜剧电影《真宠》中饰演男孩[2][5]。2019年，他在犯罪电影《犯罪危城》中饰演年轻的利亚姆[3]。2020年，他在奇幻电影《爱丽丝与梦幻岛》中饰演Curly[6]。在出演了几部电视剧和电影之后，维尔在2021年的网路影集《洛基》中出演少年洛基而一举成名[7]。
