Milford Township is one of the twenty-two townships of Knox County, 俄亥俄州, 美国. The 2000 census found 1,422 people in the township.[3]

[编辑]Located in the southwestern part of the county, 与以下镇区接壤：
- Liberty Township - 北
- Clinton Township - 北east corner
- Miller Township - 东
- Burlington Township, Licking County - 东南 corner
- Bennington Township, Licking County - 南
- Hartford Township, Licking County - 南west corner
- Hilliar Township - 西
- South Bloomfield Township, Morrow County - 北west corner
No municipalities are located in Milford Township, although the unincorporated community of Mt. Liberty lies on the northwestern border with Liberty Township.
Name and history
[编辑]Milford Township was named after New Milford, Connecticut, by a settler who hailed from there.[4]
Statewide, other Milford Townships are located in Butler and Defiance counties.
政府
[编辑]镇区有3人组成的理事会管理。理事会理事选举在奇数年11月举行，并在来年1月1日开始四年任期。两名理事的选举在总统选举后一年举行，另一名的选举在总统选举前一年举行。镇区财务官亦由选举产生[5]，与一名镇区理事选举同时举行，不过在来年4月1日才开始四年任期。若财务官或理事职位有空缺，将由剩余理事填补。
