斯特凡·贝格尔（德语：Stefan Berger，1964年—）是波鸿鲁尔大学社会运动研究院总监、鲁尔基金会图书馆委员会总监，也担任同大学的社会史教授。他的专门为研究现代、当代欧洲历史、德国和英国历史、民族主义和民族认同研究、史学史、劳工史和工业遗产。

简历

从1985年到1987年贝格尔在科隆大学修读历史、政治科学和德国文学在1990年他以罗德学者身份毕业于牛津大学三一学院，论文题目为"The Labour Party and the SPD. A Comparison of their Structure and Development and a Discussion of the Relations Between the Two Movements, 1900 - 1933"。同年起担任普利茅斯大学近代欧洲史，1991年到2000年期间任卡迪夫大学欧洲研究学院讲师。到2011年为止，他都是曼彻斯特大学近代德国与比较欧洲史教授。

贝格尔其中重点研究国族化历史，并且在欧洲基金会赞助的计划‘Representations of the Past: The Writing of National Histories in Nineteenth and Twentieth Century Europe (NHIST)’中担任重要角色。
