尾凤蝶属(学名:Bhutanitis)是绢蝶亚科锯凤蝶族中的一个属,包含了4个物种,分布于东洋界古北界交界处,包括印度北部、中国西南部及泰北一带。成虫栖息于中高海拔山地林缘,雄蝶常在开阔地面上空盘旋,雌蝶多见于寄主及蜜源附近。两性均访花,偶见雄蝶吸水。幼虫取食有毒性的马兜铃科马兜铃属植物。[2]

中大型凤蝶。体黑色被疏毛,腹面密被黄色鳞毛。头小,复眼裸露或被毛,触角短,末端膨大不明显。翅狭长,前翅外缘平直或微弧形,后翅外缘波齿状,具2至4枚尾突。无两性二型。[2]
