卡瓦力
外觀
卡瓦力(波斯體:قوّالی;旁遮普語:ਕਵਾਲੀ (古木基文);印地語:क़व्वाली;孟加拉語:কাওয়ালি),又譯卡瓦利,是蘇非派的一種宗教音樂,在神廟中演出。它起源於印度次大陸,傳說是13世紀德里的蘇菲派聖人阿米爾·庫斯洛將波斯、阿拉伯和印度音樂融合而形成的[1]。20世紀它開始走出廟宇,通過努斯拉·法帖·阿里·汗等音樂家傳播而走向了世界。
卡瓦力多以波斯語、烏爾都語、印度語、孟加拉語和旁遮普語歌唱[2],也有少數是以西萊基語等地方性語言流傳下來的[3][4]。
