English: The Plaggenschale juniper grove (Wacholderhain Plaggenschale) near Plaggenschale, district of Merzen, Lower Saxony, Germany. It is a heathland named after the common juniper (Juniperus communis) and belongs to the Terra.vita Nature Park (Natur- und Geopark Terra.vita). The site is also famous for its 111 mound graves (tumuli) from the Iron Age and the Bronze Age.

Das nach dem dort wachsenden Gemeinen Wacholder (Juniperus communis) benannte Areal ist Teil des Natur- und Geoparks Terra.vita (früher Naturpark Nördlicher Teutoburger Wald-Wiehengebirge). Das Areal ist als „Gräberfeld Plaggenschale“ außerdem von großer archäologischer Bedeutung aufgrund seiner 111 Hügelgräber aus der Eisen- und Bronzezeit.
