林鸳鸯（学名：Aix sponsa），又名树鸳鸯、美洲鸳鸯、美洲木鸭，是鸳鸯属的一种鸟类，栖息在北美地区，体长47至54 cm（19至21英寸），翼展66至73 cm（26至29英寸），以羽毛色彩艳丽而闻名[2]。
保护
[编辑]19世纪末，由于栖息地丧失和人类滥捕滥杀（食用或使用其羽毛制造帽饰）的缘故，其数量大幅下降。《1918年候鸟保护法》实施之后种群数量才开始恢复。[3]
