蜀增一 (巨蛇座λ,λ Ser)是在巨蛇座这个星座头部的一颗恒星。它的视星等为4.43等[2],使它成为肉眼可见的恒星。依据依巴谷卫星测量的视差,估计这颗恒星与地球的距离大约是39.5光年(12.1秒差距)[1]。仅管它与太阳有相似的恒星分类,但它比太阳更大,质量也更重[3]。它的光度几乎是太阳的两倍,这些能量是来自这颗恒星的外层大气层在有效温度5,884K的辐射[9]。
蜀增一的径向速度方向是朝向太阳,其值为66.4Kms−1[4]。大约再166,000年,这个系统将接近太阳至7.371正负0.258光年(2.260正负0.079秒差距)的距离,之后再远离而去[12]。
Morbey和Griffith(1887年)怀疑它有1837(5.03年)的周期变化[13],但它可能是有限的恒星活动。然而麦克唐纳天文台的团队已经假设它可能有一或多颗行星存在[13],设定行星的质量在0.16至2木星质量,在0.05和5.2天文单位的距离环绕着蜀增一。
